“Jingle all the way” through the holiday season and celebrate with song. Plan a neighborhood caroling for all the families with young children in your neighborhood. Create home made jingle sticks using a round top clothes pin, a few jingle bells and a pipe cleaner. String the jingle bells on the pipe cleaner and wrap them securely around the clothes pin. (Not recommended for children under 3). An alternative to making them is to visit your local Dollar Store for their selection of jingle bells, reindeer ears and Santa hats this time of year. Children and parents can sing along to Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming To Town and other favorites. For a little extra fun decorate wagons and strollers in Christmas garland and glitter and end the evening with a few cookies and a cup of hot cocoa. Have fun and don’t forget to give a listen to a few tunes I’ve written for the Holiday Season on my music CD “Christmas Notes For Little Folks! Ms. Maureen
